Nitida

A run-down sheep farm transformed

into a boutique winery

Twenty odd years of hard work has transformed the original sheep farm into a very successful and popular boutique winery. On entering the premises you’ll see Cape vernacular buildings with simple clean lines. The first houses Cassia, and a little further down the road you’ll find Tables.

Cassia has a great view, overlooking the farm dam, and has a lovely sun deck under umbrellas. They offer a wide variety of dishes, served in generous portions, and are open for breakfast , lunch and dinner.

Tables is a bistro style eatery, serving only breakfast and lunch, with straightforward food like super sized hamburgers with hand cut chips. Tables overlooks lawns where children can play while adults munch.

Nitida is most famous for its elegant sauvignon blancs and its oaked Semillon, but the real star in our opinion is the Sauvignon/Semillion blend called Coronata Integration. A mouthful to say, but fabulous to drink.
